Sarah Gibson - Vice President of Business Development; Houston Rockets

Sarah Gibson is a seasoned department head with diverse experience and a passion for creative, solutions-based leadership. As VP of Suites (Business Development, Sales, Strategy) for the Houston Rockets and Toyota Center she is responsible for managing and fostering connections and translating them into strategic suite/premium partnerships (sales & relationships, contract negotiation). Her focus is on revenue generation (both organic and strategic) and sell-thru, while ensuring the long-term health of the business is protected. Gibson's eye for experience design and new revenue stream creation helps re-align and re-imagine inventory in bold ways. Gibson has built her career on creating best-in-class creative thinking and performance techniques. She provides coaching, training and development for staff while advancing the business needs of the Rockets front office.
Gibson holds a BA in political science from the University of Texas. She resides in Houston with her advertising husband, Andrew, and their daughters Fiona (8) and Margot (5).
Angela Hucles Mangano - President of Women’s Soccer; Houston Dash

Angela Hucles Mangano is a two-time Olympic Gold Medalist for US Soccer, two-time World Cup Bronze Medalist, former professional soccer player and the US Soccer Foundation’s 2009 Humanitarian of the Year. She is currently the President of Women’s Soccer for the Houston Dash overseeing the sporting strategy of the club, and all soccer operations including coaching, the first team, player care, medical and performance, sports science, and all wellness programs and resources.
Her passion is in helping others achieve their goals and has nearly 40 years experience in the sports industry. Angela has become a regular speaker on topics of leadership and the power of sport and its impact on personal growth and development.
Angela is a Past President of the Women’s Sports Foundation, founded by Billie Jean King, and was a soccer analyst for FOX, ESPN, and NBC during the Women’s World Cups, Olympic games, and ACC / SEC women’s and men’s college soccer.
She was previously the General Manager of Angel City FC, after starting a real estate business with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties. Angela received a B.A. degree in Anthropology from the University of Virginia’s College and Graduate School of Arts & Sciences in 2000 as a student-athlete and later served on the Board of Visitors for the University for a full term from 2019-2023.
Tamara Washington - Executive Consultant; Boom Media and Image Consulting LLC

Tamara Washington is the Founder and CEO of Boom Media and Image Consulting LLC. (BOOM) and Boom Effect Entertainment and Sports LLC. (BEES). The native Texan graduated from the University of Houston with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. Tamara spent nearly 10 years in the television news business, with 7 years at KPRC-Local 2 (NBC Houston local affiliate) as an Assignments Manager and Internship Coordinator, an Assignments Editor for NBC Network, and as a Content Manager at KVOA (NBC in Tucson, AZ).
The multi-facet entrepreneur created BOOM in 2010 and BEES in 2020, since, Tamara has been featured on Fox, NBC, and CNN as a Public Relations expert regarding various hot topics in sports to corporation downfalls. As a Publicist and a Manager, she currently represents NFL, NBA, MLB, and NASCAR professional athletes, executives, actors, non profits, corporations, and brands.
Tamara is a member of NABJ (National Association of Black Journalists) and PRSA. Women in Law and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. have recognized Tamara for her work in the community and as a professional.

Amanda Worthy Weeks - General Counsel; Professional Sports Partners

Amanda Worthy Weeks is a Houston-based attorney specializing in sports sponsorships, major events, naming rights, and day-to-day in-house legal functions. As a fractional general counsel, Amanda partners with sports-related businesses that do not require full-time in-house legal support, offering tailored legal services to meet her clients’ unique needs.
Amanda began her career in sports at 19 as a lifeguard at Chase Field during Arizona Diamondbacks games, and she hasn’t looked back. Following an internship with the Arizona Super Bowl XLII Host Committee in media relations she attended law school and went on to work in both the Arizona State University and Syracuse University Athletic Compliance Departments (before NIL!), and the National Football League Management Council before serving as General Counsel for the Houston Super Bowl LI Host Committee.
Amanda received her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism & Strategic Media from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University and her J.D. from Syracuse University School of Law.

Khori Dastoor has served as the General Director and CEO of Houston Grand Opera since 2021. The fourth General Director in company history, Dastoor embodies an unwavering dedication to the transformative power of art and its role in ensuring civic vitality. With an ardent belief in accessibility, Dastoor has championed initiatives to ensure every member of Houston's diverse international community has access to fine art and has expanded HGO's programming to cater to multigenerational audiences and extend beyond the theater walls.
Named one of Houston’s Most Admired CEOs by Houston Business Journal (2023) and honored as a one of the city’s 50 Most Influential Women by Houston Woman Magazine (2022), Dastoor secured a $22 million private gift for HGO’s endowment foundation in 2021, the largest in the company’s history. In 2023, she spearheaded HGO’s new partnership with Apple Classical, expanding the company’s reach and sharing its world-class artistry with audiences across the globe.
Dastoor serves on the Board of Directors for OPERA America, where she is the Co-Chair of the Learning and Leadership Council and was a founding member of the Mentorship Program for Opera Leaders of Color. Additionally, she serves on the Advisory Board of the Asian Opera Alliance, the Board of The Sullivan Foundation, and is an active member of the Advisory Council for the NEC Institute for Concert Artists, and the Greater Houston Executive Women’s Partnership.
Dastoor leads industry efforts to identify young talent as a judge for the Richard Tucker Awards, the Sullivan Foundation, the Marian Anderson Awards, the International Zenith Opera Competition, and the Metropolitan Opera’s Laffont Competition. She is a frequent guest lecturer at Yale University, the National Opera Association, the National Endowment for the Arts, the Aspen Music Festival and School, the New England Conservatory, the Juilliard School, the Music Academy of the West, New York’s LaGuardia Performing Arts High School, and Houston’s world-renowned Kinder High School for the Performing Arts. In summer 2024, Dastoor joined global leaders from a wide range of industries at the Aspen Ideas Festival, the preeminent public gathering of the Aspen Institute.
Prior to HGO, Dastoor enjoyed an international singing career and served as a member of foundation leadership at the Packard Humanities Institute and the Wadhwani Foundation before being named the General Director of Opera San José. She received her bachelor’s degree with academic honors from the New England Conservatory of Music and completed her graduate studies at UCLA. She and her husband are the proud parents of two young daughters.
Pamela B. McKay- Vice President and Market Manager; Radio One Houston

Pamela McKay started her 31 year radio industry career as an account executive at KPRC-AM in 1991 and was promoted to Local Sales Manager in 1994. In 1995 the company sold to Clear Channel and McKay was part of the transition team to bring the companies together. In 1997 she was promoted to National Sales Manager and on to General Sales Manager in 1999. After a merger in 2000 with AMFM, McKay became GSM for Mix 96.5.
In June 2006 McKay was promoted to VP/Market Manager for Austin. From 2012-2014 McKay also served as VP/Market Manager for both the Austin cluster and iHeart’s 7-station San Antonio cluster.
In 2017 McKay joined Radio One as VP/Market Manager of the powerhouse Houston group and became the first African American female to hold this coveted position to oversee legendary stations Majic 102 and 97.9 The Box. With the Radio One acquisition of CMG in 2023, their group now also includes two additional legendary brands…93Q Country and The Eagle.

Pam attended Texas Southern University to study Business Administration. She was a member of the Lady Tigers Basketball team and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority. McKay has been married to her husband Bob for 30 wonderful years and has four beautifully amazing children, Kellyn (29) and 22 year old triplets Kharson, Kendall and Kamille.

As Chief Marketing Officer for Houston First Corporation, Holly Clapham-Rosenow is responsible for creating and accelerating the company’s marketing strategy and Houston’s brand recognition across the globe.
Clapham-Rosenow has significant experience across marketing, management, branding, lead generation, public relations and strategic planning, retail marketing, organizational design and innovation. Under her leadership, the marketing team has received more than 100 local and national awards.
Clapham-Rosenow is a member of the American Marketing Association and sits on the Theater District Houston Association board and served on the 2004 Super Bowl Marketing Committee, the 2016 NCAA Men’s Final Four Executive Team, 2017 Super Bowl Marketing Committee and as the Marketing Chair for the 2023 NCAA Men’s Final Four.

Ada Ortega is a vibrant public affairs leader with over a decade of experience in government relations, media communications, issue management, and corporate social responsibility.
Ortega currently serves as the Director of Public Affairs, Communications, and Sustainability for the South Market Unit at Arca Continental Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages, one of the largest Coca-Cola bottlers in the United States. In this influential role, Ortega leads strategic public affairs, communication and government relations efforts across the Houston, Austin, San Antonio, South Texas, and East Texas territories.
Ortega's notable career includes her tenure as Press Secretary for Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner, where she handled citywide communication strategies and served as the Spanish spokesperson for both the mayor and the City of Houston. Prior to the City of Houston, Ortega served as a corporate communications manager for Community First Health Plans, a Medicaid insurance provider in San Antonio, Texas, and as a regional press secretary for the Texas Democratic Party during the 2014 statewide election cycle.
Throughout her career, Ortega’s focus has been to empower communities and be at the forefront of championing inclusion initiatives. She currently serves on the board for the United Nations Association of Houston, the Houston Arts Alliance, and is an honorary board member of the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
Ortega’s recognitions include being a 2023 Houston Business Journal Women Who Mean Business honoree, 2023 Top 30 Influential Women of Houston honoree, and a graduate of: Leadership Houston Class XL. Anita Sehgal - Executive Vice President, Marketing & Communications; Houston Astros

Anita Sehgal is currently in her tenth year with the Houston Astros as Executive Vice President, Marketing & Communications. In her role, Anita provides strategic leadership for the ballclub’s retail, advertising, marketing, communications, broadcasting, and alumni relations, including support for a broad variety of sponsorship, ticket, special event, community, and the Astros Golf Foundation and Houston Open initiatives.
Prior to joining the Houston organization, Anita spent over 20 years in various strategic marketing functions with several organizations, including FGL Sports, Best Buy and most recently Academy Sports + Outdoors. Hailing from Canada’s Regina, Saskatchewan, Anita, who earned her United States citizenship in September of 2019, received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, with a focus in marketing and human resources, from the University of Regina. She plays an active role in several Houston-based organizations, including her position as an Executive Committee Board Member of the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Houston and a board member of WISE Houston. She is also an active Brand 50 member of World 50. Anita serves as an Independent Board Director with Reitman’s Canada, Ltee, Escalade Inc, and Holley Inc – where she recently took on the role as Chair for the Governance & Nominating Committee.
In 2016, Anita was honored as one of Houston’s Top 15 Business Women by the National Diversity Council.
